CHICAGO — Marmon/Keystone LLC has opened a service center near Nashville, Tenn., to distribute aluminum and stainless pipe and tube, cold-drawn seamless, cold-rolled electric-weld, drawn-over-mandrel (DOM) and hot-rolled seamless steel tubing.

The 43,000-square-foot facility, located in Mount Juliet, Tenn., houses two fully automated band saws with a 21-inch outer diameter capacity and two 10-ton overhead cranes.

The Nashville location serves as a satellite to the company’s Birmingham, Ala., branch and supplies products to the agriculture, automotive, railroad and paper industries, along with machine and fabrication shops, the Butler, Pa.-based company said.

"Marmon/Keystone is increasing its presence to better meet the needs of our existing customer base in central and western Tennessee, eastern Arkansas, southwestern Kentucky and northwestern Mississippi," Birmingham branch manager Mike Gregory said in a statement. "We also look forward to establishing new business relationships in the area."
