CHICAGO Timothy Gill will join the Aluminum Association as vice president of business information and statistics effective May 27.
Gill, a veteran economist and statistician, will replace Nick Adams, who is retiring after 32 years with the Arlington, Va.-based trade association.
Before joining the Aluminum Association, Gill worked as director of economics at the National Electrical Manufacturers Association. He has also worked as a senior analyst at the American Petroleum Institute, the Aluminum Association said.
Gill also serves as chair of the National Association for Business Economics Industry Survey Committee, the organization said.
