Synalloy unit wins Mexico piping systems deal

NEW YORK — Synalloy Corp.’s Ram-Fab subsidiary has won a $6-million fabrication contract to provide high-nickel alloy, stainless and carbon steel piping systems for the Mexico-based operations of a Fortune-500 chemical manufacturing company.

Shipments are scheduled to begin in the second quarter and be completed late in the year, the Spartanburg, S.C.-based company said.

Ram-Fab fabricates and cold bends stainless steel, high-nickel alloy, chrome and carbon piping systems.
