PITTSBURGH — The owner of North Carolina recycler Raleigh Metal Recycling is facing charges of allegedly violating a state secondary metals recycling law.

Gregory Brown was arrested May 1 and faces charges tied to seven alleged misdemeanor violations of the provisions of House Bill 199, a Raleigh Police Department spokesman said.

The violations stemmed from a section of the law that involves photographs in required record-keeping.

"We fully support all law enforcement in following all laws, and we are working toward a positive resolution of the issue," Brown told AMM.
