St. Louis Cold Drawn worker dies

NEW YORK — A steelworker at St. Louis Cold Drawn Inc. was electrocuted May 15.

The employee, who operated an offline straightening line, was killed by a fuse terminal located inside a control panel. The company said it didn’t know why the worker was using the control panel.

The St. Louis-based company didn’t say whether production had been halted or if an investigation was under way.
