CHICAGO — Worthington Industries Inc. has promoted two executives who will lead its engineered cabs and Worthington Armstrong Venture (Wave) business segments starting July 1.

John G. Lamprinakos, Wave’s president and chief executive officer for the past nine years, will become president of the Columbus, Ohio-based company’s engineered cabs unit. He succeeds Robert A. Kluver, who is retiring Dec. 31 after 42 years with the business.

Charlie Chiappone will take over as president of Wave, a venture with Armstrong World Industries Inc., Lancaster, Pa.

Lamprinakos started in Worthington’s sales training program in 1979 and spent 24 years at its pressure cylinders unit, including two years as president.

Chiappone has more than 20 years’ manufacturing experience and joined Armstrong’s building products business as vice president of global marketing and commercial excellence in 2012.
