NEW YORK — The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration (ITA) has amended its final scope ruling on imports of stainless steel plate in coil from Belgium, South Africa and Taiwan.

ITA determined that product with an actual thickness of less than 4.7 millimeters, regardless of its nominal thickness, is excluded from existing anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders. The ruling follows several appeals to the Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals ( amm.com, Sept. 10).
