ITC starts stainless pipe investigation

NEW YORK — The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) will start the preliminary phase in an anti-dumping duty investigation into whether imports of welded stainless steel pressure pipe from Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam are injuring or threatening to injure the domestic industry.

Written submissions are due by June 11 and the ITC will make a decision by July 1.

Petitioners include Bristol Metals LP, Felker Brothers Corp. and Outokumpu Stainless Pipe Inc.
