NEW YORK — Casey Equipment Corp. has reached an exclusive agreement to sell assets from the former RG Steel LLC facility in Martins Ferry, Ohio.

The Pittsburgh-based company will sell a 60-inch Wean galvanizing line and a 48-inch Wean galvanizing line, as well as a 300,000-ton-per-year Butech Bliss two-high temper mill, a Cutler-Hammer outdoor transformer and a diesel standby generator.

RG Steel filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last May (, May 31, 2012). A federal bankruptcy court judge later approved the sale of Martins Ferry to local businessmen W. Quay Mull II and Joseph N. Gompers for $2 million (, Aug. 9).
