Commerce rules on stainless bar imports

NEW YORK — The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued a preliminary ruling in an anti-dumping duty order on stainless steel bar imports from India that Ambica Steels Ltd. did not sell the product at less than normal value between Feb. 1, 2011, and Jan. 31, 2012, and issued a dumping margin of zero.

The cash deposit rate for other manufacturers is 12.45 percent.
