NEW YORK — Andron Stainless Corp. has filed a lawsuit against equipment manufacturer Oden Corp. alleging that it hasn’t paid for nearly $88,000 worth of products it purchased.

Columbia, S.C.-based Andron alleged that Oden owes the stainless steel distributor $87,664 for goods sold and delivered between September 2012 and March 2013, according to court documents filed in U.S. District Court in western New York.

However, a spokesman for Tonawanda, N.Y.-based Oden Machinery Inc. told AMM that Oden Corp. no longer exists as an entity, having been purchased by the former in an asset sale in late April.

"We don’t have any connection to Oden Corp. We bought their assets from a secured creditor. In terms of liabilities, I don’t know anything about that," he said.

Oden Machinery is a manufacturer of liquid-filling machinery.
