NEW YORK — Allied Tube & Conduit Corp. has reshuffled its executive team.

Ed Kurasz has been appointed vice president and general manager as well as sales lead for the company’s mechanical, fence, sprinkler and flexhead business, while Roger Vaught has been named vice president of sales with responsibility for national accounts.

Kurasz previously was executive vice president of sales, while Vaught was vice president of the conduit and fittings division.

The company also has created a new position, general manager of electrical, to oversee what Allied Tube president William Taylor called the company’s "most critical and largest market." Taylor will fill that role on an interim basis.

Allied Tube is a division of Harvey, Ill.-based Atkore International Holdings Inc., which recently posted a loss in its fiscal second quarter, largely due to challenges in its global pipe, tube and conduit division (, May 14).

The reshuffle follows a corporate reorganization the company undertook last year, when it restructured its operations into three business units and cut its workforce (, Aug. 17).
