first of four New York men convicted of stealing processed
scrap metal en route to a Pennsylvania steel mill has been
sentenced to 18 months in prison and ordered to pay $4,669 in
Anthony Toscano of
Rochester, N.Y., who had been facing up to 10 years in prison
and a $250,000 fine, has been ordered to turn himself in on
July 5. He could not be reached for comment.
Toscano is one of four
men convicted in U.S. District Court in New York of conspiracy
