Environmental Services is seeking to open a scrap metal
recycling facility in Salisbury, N.C.
The company, which is
located in Salisbury and Hope Mills, N.C., is asking the Rowan
County Planning Board to rezone 15 acres to industrial from
commercial, business and industrial, according to the
application signed by CCI president Mark Vestal, who could not
be reached for comment.
A separate application
for a conditional-use permit for the land alongside I-85 will
be considered by the local board of commissioners.
CCI is involved in abatement, demolition, emergency response
and remediation work.
