ITC assessing steel threaded rod imports

NEW YORK — The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has instituted a review to determine whether there is reasonable indication that the U.S. industry is materially injured or threatened with material injury by imports of steel threaded rod from India and Thailand.

The ITC has scheduled a conference for July 18. Written submissions are due by July 23 and a preliminary determination will be made by Aug. 12.

Petitioners include Denver-based All American Threaded Products Inc., Brentwood, Calif.-based Bay Standard Manufacturing Inc. and Pelham, Ala.-based Vulcan Threaded Products Inc.
