North American Stainless maintains fuel surcharge at 33%

NEW YORK — North American Stainless Inc. (NAS) has maintained its fuel surcharge at 33 percent for stainless flat and long products for July.

The Ghent, Ky.-based producer, which reviews its fuel surcharge on a monthly basis, recently announced lower raw material surcharges for the fourth consecutive month (amm.com, June 24) but increased prices for martensitic and precipitation-hardening bar grades (amm.com, June 28).
