CHICAGO — Delta Brands Inc. (DBI) has changed its name to Delta Steel Technologies (DST).

DST’s design, planning, production, shipping and rigging capabilities over the past year have been showcased in two industry milestone projects: the widest, thickest cut-to-length line (1 inch by 120 inches) and the world’s largest rotary shear able to cut 1-inch-thick by 102-inch-wide high-strength steel, the Irving, Texas-based equipment maker said.

"Delta is proud to build on a 49-year tradition of reliable, high-performance equipment," Joseph Savariego, the company’s president, said. "We continue to focus heavily on implementing quality improvements and we are actively recruiting the most talented, skilled design and field engineers in our industry to meet customer requirements."
