Commerce rules on hot-rolled steel imports

NEW YORK — In an anti-dumping duty administrative review of imports of hot-rolled carbon steel flat products from China, the Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued a preliminary determination that Baoshan Iron & Steel Co. Ltd., Baosteel Group Corp. and Shanghai Baosteel International Economic & Trading Co. Ltd. did not ship the product to the United States from Nov. 1, 2011, to Oct. 31, 2012.

The China-wide cash deposit rate is 90.83 percent.
