NEW YORK — Michael Casey, a manager and trader at Metal Exchange Corp., has retired, the St. Louis-based company said.

Casey has not yet been replaced, but copper vice president Marvin Polikov will be assuming the bulk of Casey’s duties, the company told AMM.

Metal Exchange was founded in 1974 as a scrap trading company and now is a global trader and manufacturer of nonferrous metals. Casey, who started his metal trading career in 1969, joined the company in 2003 after previously working at Diversified Metals, Metal Processors and MG Metal & Commodity.
