NEW YORK — Ipsco Tubulars (OK) Inc., TMK Ipsco’s processing facility at the Tulsa Port of Catoosa in Oklahoma, is getting a 2,000-foot rail extension to connect it to the main rail line of the port’s industrial park.

"I think it’s indicative of the energy industry’s continued growth and expansion in the area," port director Robert Portiss said of the $560,000 project.

The facility, which has about 200 workers, heat treats and threads seamless and welded oil country tubular goods.

A spokesman for TMK Ipsco, the North American subsidiary of Russia’s OAO TMK, declined to comment.
