NEW YORK Ipsco
Tubulars (OK) Inc., TMK Ipscos processing facility at the
Tulsa Port of Catoosa in Oklahoma, is getting a 2,000-foot rail
extension to connect it to the main rail line of the
ports industrial park.
"I think its
indicative of the energy industrys continued growth and
expansion in the area," port director Robert Portiss said of
the $560,000 project.
The facility, which
has about 200 workers, heat treats and threads seamless and
welded oil country tubular goods.
A spokesman for TMK Ipsco, the North American subsidiary of
Russias OAO TMK, declined to comment.
