NEW YORK — The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration (ITA) has postponed to Oct. 23 its preliminary determination in an anti-dumping duty investigation of imports of diffusion-annealed, nickel-plated flat-rolled steel from Japan from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2012.

The delay was requested by petitioner Thomas Steel Strip Corp. to allow the ITA more time to select mandatory respondents and collect questionnaires.
