CHICAGO — Thuro Metal Products Inc. is upgrading and modernizing its operations in Brentwood, N.Y.

The $3-million expansion project will allow Thuro to maintain its 50-person payroll and create 15 new jobs.

Thuro, which uses aluminum, carbon, alloy, stainless steel, brass, titanium bar, sheet and plate to produce precision-machined products for the aerospace, automotive and industrial equipment industries, is receiving state incentive tax credits to support the expansion.
