NEW YORK — Candente Copper Corp. has added three copper mine projects to its repertoire with the acquisition of Cobriza Metals Corp.

The Vancouver, British Columbia-based mine development company has three copper projects in the western Cordillera of the Peruvian Andes: Cañariaco Norte, Cañariaco Sur and Quebrada Verde.

Cobriza, a mine development company also based in Vancouver, has three 100-percent-owned projects in Peru called Arikepay, Miraflores and Don Gregorio, as well as the unexplored porphyry copper-molybdenum project Las Pavas and lead-zinc mineralization project El as de Zinc, also in Peru.

Both companies are taking steps to delist Cobriza from the TSX Venture Exchange.
