ITA rules electrodes are subject to anti-dumping duty

NEW YORK — The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued a final determination on the circumvention of an anti-dumping duty order on small-diameter graphite electrodes from China.

The agency determines that product from Jilin Carbon Import & Export Co. and Sinosteel Jilin Carbon Co. Ltd. with an actual or nominal diameter of 17 inches should be included within the scope of the order.
