Tejas Tubular plans to build Ind. facility

LONDON — Tejas Tubular Products Inc. plans to build a new facility in New Carlisle, Ind., that will focus on the heat treatment and manufacturing of 4½- to 9⅝-inch outside-diameter well casings for the oil and gas industry.

The primary output of the facility, which will have an expected annual capacity of more than 72,000 tons, will be heavier-weight production casing with semi-premium and premium threaded connections.

The Houston-based company is a major manufacturer and supplier of oil country tubular goods for the petroleum industry.
