NEW YORK — Hugo Neu Corp.’s electronics recycling subsidiary has been renamed Hugo Neu Recycling, the company said Sept. 17.

The Mount Vernon, N.Y.-based company, formerly known as WeRecycle! LLC, operates two locations in Mount Vernon and one in Meriden, Conn. New York-based Hugo Neu purchased WeRecycle in 2009 when it was in Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

"Over time, WeRecycle has become a closer part of the Hugo Neu family, so it made perfect sense to rebrand the company," chairman and chief executive officer Wendy Kelman Neu said in a statement.

Hugo Neu Recycling specializes in safe data destruction and business-related electronics recycling.
