Metalformer Dayton Rogers plans SC plant start-up

CHICAGO – Dayton Rogers Manufacturing Co. plans to open a new production facility in Richland County, S.C.

The Blaine, Minn.-based metalformer expects to invest $11 million and could hire nearly 135 people over the next five years.

Dayton Rogers will lease two buildings totaling 135,000 square feet and expects to start up operations before year-end.

The company received an economic development grant of $350,000 and the state approved job development tax credits.

Dayton Rogers also operates stamping, forming, fabricating and machining shops in California, Florida, Minnesota, New York, Ohio and Texas. End-users are primarily specifying stampings for military, medical and aerospace applications.
