PITTSBURGH — Pull-A-Part LLC has continued its acquisition spree, purchasing El Paso, Texas-based Mega U Pull, a self-service yard, for undisclosed terms.

The location is the second Pull-A-Part operation in Texas, following the Atlanta-based auto recyler’s recent expansion into the state (, Sept. 18). The company now has 26 locations in 12 states.

"The addition of Mega U Pull ... supports the Pull-A-Part strategy of acquiring outstanding, existing operations or selectively developing greenfield locations across the country," Pull-A-Part president and chief executive officer Ross Kogon said.
