NEW YORK — PNW Metal Recycling LLC, a unit of R.S. Davis Recycling Inc., has acquired 37 acres in Longview, Wash., which the company intends to use as a processing yard for ferrous and nonferrous scrap.

The property, which was bought out of bankruptcy for an undisclosed price, should be fully operational in two to three months, a spokesman for the Clackamas, Ore.-based company told AMM. Along with ferrous and nonferrous balers, the company plans to install draining stations to handle excess liquid from junk vehicles, he said.

R.S. Davis Recycling currently operates out of three locations in Oregon.
