Accuride signs labor deal with USW

CHICAGO — Steel and aluminum wheel maker Accuride Corp. has signed a five-year collective bargaining agreement with the United Steelworkers union, which represents about 600 active and inactive hourly employees at its Brillion Iron Works subsidiary in Brillion, Wis.

The new agreement runs through June 30, 2018. Officials of USW Local 2-475 could not be reached for comment.

The Evansville, Ind.-based company’s Brillion Iron Works produces about 145,000 net tons per year of gray, ductile and austempered iron products for industries including agriculture, construction and mining equipment, hydraulic, oil and gas, commercial vehicles and engine components.
