NEW YORK — Bar and tubing distributor Marmon/Keystone Canada Inc. has opened a new 25,500-square-foot service center in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The center will give the Burlington, Ontario-based company the "much-needed space to expand a number of our product lines, including drawn-over-mandrel tube, hollow structural sections, hot-rolled seamless mechanical tube, as well as stainless steel pipe, tube and bar," regional manager David Collignon said in a statement.

The new facility, which is equipped with two 5-ton overhead cranes and a Kasto twin AE4 horizontal band saw, serves the agriculture, mining, and oil and gas industries across Saskatchewan. It replaces a previous 18,000-square-foot facility in the city that the company’s operations had outgrown, Marmon/Keystone said.

Marmon/Keystone Canada is an affiliate of Butler, Pa.-based Marmon/Keystone LLC.
