NEW YORK Scrap industry veteran Garey Rittenhouse has joined AMG Resources Corp. as vice president of its nonferrous division.
Rittenhouse will manage and develop nonferrous scrap activities at various facilities, oversee nonferrous scrap trading and develop new opportunities for expansion in the nonferrous market, Pittsburgh-based AMG said Dec. 2.
Rittenhouse previously was vice president of nonferrous trading at Mayfield Heights, Ohio-Based PSC Metals Inc. (amm.com, May 23) . He also spent 15 years with Pittsburgh-based Alcoa Inc. in various aluminum sales positions.
AMG and its affiliates have commercial offices and operate scrap processing facilities throughout the United States and the United Kingdom.
