NEW YORK — The U.S. Commerce Department has postponed to Feb. 19 its preliminary determination on countervailing duty investigations regarding imports of Turkish rebar.

The preliminary determination had been due Dec. 16 but was extended after a request from U.S. rebar producers.

The original Nov. 29 deadline for the preliminary determination had been extended to Dec. 16 due to the government shutdown. The deadline for an anti-dumping duty determination remains Feb. 27.
