Steel tubing industry veteran Philip Hoehn dies

LOS ANGELES — Steel tubing industry veteran Philip T. Hoehn Jr., general sales manager at Vest Inc., has died after a lengthy illness. He was 61.

Hoehn oversaw distributor sales, the primary market for the Los Angeles producer of mechanical and structural tubing. He started in the steel industry in 1975 with the former Kaiser Steel Corp. and later was a partner in the former Harris Tube Co.

He is survived by his wife, Susan, and three children. A memorial service will be held Jan. 17 at St. Edward the Confessor Church in Dana Point, Calif.
