NEW YORK — Wheatland Tube Co. is raising prices on all fence framework products by 5 percent effective April 10.

The Sharon, Pa.-based company, a subsidiary of Chicago’s JMC Steel Group Inc., said in an April 8 letter to customers that the move was "due to the increasing cost for flat-rolled steel, energy and transportation."

The previous day, Allied Tube & Conduit Corp., a division of Harvey, Ill.-based Atkore International Holdings Inc., announced it was increasing prices for fence and mechanical products (, April 8).
