Danjczek exiting Globe’s board

CHICAGO — Thomas A. Danjczek, the former president of the Steel Manufacturers Association, will retire from Globe Specialty Metals Inc.’s board of directors effective May 15.

Danjczek serves on the Miami-based silicon metal producer’s audit and compensation committees, according to the company’s website.

He has served on Globe’s board for more than five years, the company said in a statement April 10.

Bruce Crockett, chairman of Invesco Mutual Funds and a director of the Investment Co. Institute, joined Globe’s board April 9 and will serve on its audit committee, the company said.
