International Steels to set up service centers in Karachi

Pakistani flat steel products roller and coater International Steels is to set up service centers in Karachi and Lahore. The total cost will be 675 million Pakistani rupees ($6.08 million), and the service centers will have cut-to-length and slitting machines and will be completed within 12 months after the date of approval.

The company will also invest 290 million Pakistani rupees ($2.61 million) in an annealing and skin-pass facility with a capacity of 100,000 tonnes per year at the Karachi service center.
