Interseroh SE has named Markus Barg managing director of Interseroh Scrap & Metals Holding GmbH, the company’s metals recycling arm, the German trader said. Barg, who has 23 years’ experience in the European scrap recycling industry, will be responsible for the company’s ferrous scrap strategy, the company told AMM sister publication Metal Bulletin. “His expertise will definitely help us to strengthen Interseroh’s position as one of the leading recyclers of ferrous scrap and nonferrous metals,” said Joachim Wagner, chairman of Interseroh Scrap & Metals Holding. The company, which operates about 110 scrap sites worldwide, traded 2.7 million tonnes of metal scrap last year. It is one of the top three German scrap recyclers.
