Building on its great history of success, AMM Events is pleased to present Mexican Steel ‘08!

In examining the Mexican Steel Industry in 2008, this year’s conference will be broken up into three distinct parts to give our delegates the largest, most in depth coverage of the most topical issues and trends facing the industry.

Anchored by keynote speaker Humberto Jasso, general director of heavy industry and high technology at the Mexico Economy Ministry, the conference will also include highlight speaker Rodrigo Vazquez, Director – Steel, Harbor Intelligence and a strong NAFTA roundtable.

The first half of the conference will focus heavily on the US-Mexican steel connection and how North American and global trade issues are impacting steel business. In the afternoon, the conference moves on to part two, exploring how the issues and trends raised in the morning discussions are directly impacting the Mexican Steel Industry focusing on Mexican steel consumers and mills. Lastly, following tradition, the 2008 conference will wrap up with a local plant tour.

AMM Events invites you to join this conference to find out what is next for this market as over 300 industry experts, steel market pioneers, buyers, service centers, manufacturers and others meet to discuss the year and new era ahead.
