Ford swings to $997M profit in qtr. despite revenue drop

Ford Motor Co. has posted third-quarter net income of $997 million in contrast to a net loss of $161 million in the same period last year despite a 2.5-percent decline in revenue to $30.9 billion from $31.7 billion.
