Timken’s Ohio workers ratify new contract

Workers at several Timken Co. plants in Ohio have ratified a new four-year labor agreement.

The weekend vote came after weeks of negotiations between United Steelworkers union Local 1123 and the Canton, Ohio-based specialty steelmaker. The two sides had agreed to several extensions of the previous labor agreement, which expired Sept. 28.
