China, Korea buyers push Japan scrap prices higher

Japanese scrap export prices have risen for the first time in three months amid increased buying from China and South Korea.

The average price for December deliveries of H2 scrap rose to ¥24,264 per tonne ($265) free alongside ship at the latest export tender held by dealers in Tokyo.
