The numbers did not add up for Chuck Bradford and Michelle Applebaum at the 59th annual dinner and conference of the American Institute for International Steel, New York. Bradford, partner with Affiliated Research Group, New York, took part in a steel forecast presentation to open the conference portion of the event. Near the end of his presentation, he took a jab at someone who had submitted to AMM a Letter to the Editor citing data marking the United States as a net steel exporter in August.
