American Metal Market to Host First Steel Long Products Conference
American Metal Market will host its first Steel Long Products Conference
in the W City Center Hotel in Chicago, Illinois from October 12-13, 2011.
The conference is designed to uncover when the structural, rod and bar markets will recover despite the current US economy concerns. The Steel Long Products Conference will go beyond the unknowns driven by politics and to the root of the fundamentals driving producers, end users and consumers with an emphasis on 2012 and an eye on what looks to be the New Normal for the long term.
The event will feature keynote speakers John Correnti of Steel Development Co., Mike Rehwinkel of Evraz North America, and PS Venkat of ArcelorMittal. American Metal Markets inaugural Mechanical and Structural Tube Conference will precede the Steel Long Products Conference and take place in the same hotel on Wednesday and Thursday, October 11, 2011.
