Price notice: Al scrap, secondary alloys

Fastmarkets AMM is proposing to change the assessment frequency of its aluminium scrap and secondary aluminium alloy prices - to once per week on Thursdays rather than twice per week on Monday and Thursday - in order to ensure price robustness and maintain the best products for customers.

Initial feedback suggests that weekly pricing would be more reflective of market movements. Alternatively, if a twice-weekly frequency remains desired, Fastmarkets AMM proposes moving pricing to Tuesday and Thursday.

The one-month consultation period for this proposal begins on Monday October 14 and will end on November 11; an update to this notice will be published on November 12.
