Fastmarkets AMM is proposing to delist its monthly assessment of the dealer buying price for aluminium scrap mixed clips in Toronto due to a lack of market liquidity.
The following non-ferrous dealer buying price, delivered to yard in Toronto, has been proposed for discontinuation:
Assessment: Mixed clips, Toronto
Quality: Shall consist of new, clean, uncoated and unpainted aluminium scrap of two or more alloys with a minimum thickness of 0.015 in (0.38 mm) and to be free of hair wire, wire screen, dirt and other non-metallic items. Oil and grease not to total more than 1%.
Location: US/Canada, specified city, delivered to yard
Unit: US cents per lb (Canadian cities' prices are in local currency)
Publication: Once per month (approximately the 1st)
The consultation period for the discontinuation of this price began on Tuesday March 3, 2020, and will end 30 days later, or on April 2, with changes taking effect on the next due date of publication.
