Bhushan Power & Steel ramps up Odisha blast furnace


India’s Bhushan Power & Steel is ramping up production at its new blast furnace in Rengali, in the Indian state of Odisha, after firing it up in November 2017. The 2,015 cubic metre furnace is capable of producing hot iron at a rate of 4,450 tonnes per day, according to equipment maker Paul Wurth.
