ArcelorMittal restarts output at Bremen

ArcelorMittal restarted operations at blast furnace (BF) No. 2 at its steelmaking plant in Bremen, Germany, in December 2017 after two months of modernization.

“In 2017, we have invested around €70 million [$82.92 million] in the industrial future of the Bremen site. Improvements in energy efficiency and environmental protection are our contribution to sustainable steel production,” Reiner Blaschek, chief executive officer of ArcelorMittal Bremen, said.
