Russel to buy distributor Norton Metal

Russel Metals Inc., a Mississauga, Ontario-based steel processor and distributor, has signed an agreement to acquire 100 percent of the outstanding capital stock of Norton Metal Products Inc., a Fort Worth, Texas-based, family owned metals service center.
The transaction, the terms of which weren't disclosed, is expected to close Nov. 28.
Norton, established in 1952, handles structural products, merchant bar products, tubing, sheet, plate, coil, ornamental iron and building products, according to its Web site.....
