Rea Magnet Wire suspending energy, chemical surcharge

Rea Magnet Wire Co. Inc. will suspend its energy and chemical surcharge for the first quarter of 2009 as it waits to see if input costs continue to stabilize in the new year.
The surcharge, first implemented in July and raised to 6.2 cents a pound in October, will be re-evaluated after March 31, the Fort Wayne, Ind.-based company said.....
